However only 25% of all ICT professionals in Canada are women. The Women in Technology Program is committed to educate and support women interested in building a career in the dynamic technology industry.


Women in Technology Program

  • Program is at Making Changes (6516 1a St SW)
  • 26 Week Program
  • Classes run Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 4:00pm
  • Program Start Date: April 22, 2019


Experienced Facilitators will Provide:

  • Employment & Life Skills Training
  • IT Training through Cisco Network Academy
  • Work Experience Placement in Technology Industry


Aboriginal Futures Funding Criteria for this Program:

  • Indigenous Women (First Nations or Inuit) residing in Calgary
  • High School Diploma
  • Have the commitment to complete the 6-month full-time program and work in the industry
