Sterile Processing Technician

Training Location: SAIT Campus

21 Week Certificate Program - 12 weeks are completed at SAIT & 9 weeks practicum provided by the Calgary Health Region. The program provides training for the critical role of cleaning, packaging, serilizing, storing and handling of sterile supplies. The program has a strong focus on infection control and aseptic techniques.

Program Start Date: September 2/08 to January 30/09 All participants will receive a living allowance while in training.

Community Futures Treaty Seven (CFT7) is hosting the 10th Annual First Nation Entrepreneurial Youth Camp.

The camp will be held August 17th to August 22nd, 2008 at Nakoda Lodge. The camp will target business minded Aboriginal youth aged 16-35, who are interested in learning how to start their own business. T7EDC will screen and accept 20 participants.
