HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR INFO SESSIONS


COMMUNITY FUTURES TREATY SEVEN is pleased to work with Interior Heavy Equipment Operator Training School in Innisfail, AB to deliver a ten week (10) Heavy Equipment Operator Program (HEO). This program will allow individuals to obtain all the basic skills necessary to enter the Heavy Equipment Operator Trade with above average opportunities for employment upon successful completion

Training End Date: February 16, 2018

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
• Excavator Training: 110 hours
• Loader Training: 25 Hours
• Dozer Training: 25 Hours
• Articulated Rock Truck Training: 25 Hours
• Rubber Tire Backhoe Training: 25 Hours
• Classroom Instructional Theory 145 Hours
• Industrial Safety Tickets (WHMIS, Ground Disturbance, PST/CSTS and First Aid)
• Accommodation will be provided while in Training in Innisfail
• Living Allowance provided at a rate of $300.00/week for full time attendance. Absences will result in a deduction to your living allowance. Absences of 3 or more days could result in termination from the program

PREREQUISITES:  
• The Minimum academic entrance requirements is Grade 10. Applicants will be required to provide copies of their Transcripts at registration be willing to complete a Test of Adult Basic Education (TABES) exam to show they have a Grade 10 Academic Standing 
• Must have a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits. 
• Must be able to provide copy of license and drivers abstract at the time of Registration. 
• Must have your own transportation to get to/from Innisfail and to training each day. A travel allowance will not be provided.
